History:
The Keeshond has always been bred as a companion dog. Developed from
other Northern breeds, the Keeshond has been popular in the Netherlands
for over 200 years.
Temperament:
Maintenance: They have moderate exercise requirements and will be
fine with a daily walk. They shed their undercoats twice a year will
produce quite a lot of hair. The rest of the year they need to be
brushed out once or twice a week to keep the coat mat-free. They are
quiet indoors and can easily adapt to apartment living.
