Coccidiosis, giardia, and bordetella are troublesome disorders for young animals but they are not life threatening unless left untreated. Any clinic work that you authorize will be paid by you. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) can arise in small puppies of any breed. Farmland can not warrant against it. Particularly small puppies should be fed at least 3 times a day in small amounts with free choice water available to help prevent hypoglycemia.
